Video – USL Presser: Las Vegas Pro Soccer 2018

Many were in attendance for the press conference on Friday, August 11 where it was announced that Las Vegas will be getting a professional soccer team in 2018.

Las Vegas will become the 33rd market for the United Soccer League, which is a division II professional soccer league. The new team is owned by Brett Lashbrook. Governor Brian Sandoval and Mayor Carolyn Goodman spoke about what the new team means for the city of Las Vegas.

However, the name of the club still remains undecided but fans are able to vote for it up until August 28. The new name will be revealed on August 29.
