Video – WBO Heavyweight Champ Joseph Parker on Anthony Joshua fight: I’ll be a lot leaner, lighter; Fight will change our lives

Undefeated WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (24-0) will be fighting WBA, IBF, and IBO champion Anthony Joshua (20-0), who is also unbeaten, on March 31 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Immediately after the fight was announced and tickets went on sale, over 70,000 tickets were sold.

Parker is coming off a win over Hughie Fury on September 23, 2017. That marked his first professional fight in the U.K. He has also stopped 18 of his 24 opponents.

Parker, a native of New Zealand, won the title after defeating Andy Ruiz Jr. on December 10, 2016. He became the first heavyweight boxer from New Zealand to win a world heavyweight title.

Since becoming WBO heavyweight champion, he has successfully defended it against Razvan Cojanu and Hughie Fury.

He spoke to Helen Yee about how his training camp went, Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz, and more.
