AUDIO- Hometown Hero Paul Sewald talks MLB Playoffs, Golden Knights & Mets

The Bishop Gorman grad/current Mets pitcher joins Steve Cofield & Adam Hill on ESPN Las Vegas to discuss the Las Vegas 51s, the MLB Playoffs, his time with the Mets, the Golden Knights & more.

Sewald says of the Golden Knights, “When you get to embrace your city and really support a team from Vegas- it was just a blast for all of us and how well they played was just a bonus.”

Sewald says of Bishop Gorman football, “I follow along and check to see how they’re doing. It’s been fun to brag to the guys and say ‘that’s my high school playing on TV’ I try to check it out every once in a while and see how they’re doing.”

Sewald says of teammate Jacob deGrom, “It was unbelievable to watch. He was just so good every single time he went out there.”
