AUDIO- St. Mary’s coach Randy Bennett is fired up about Jordan Ford’s start

The Gaels lost five of their top seven players, but it appears Bennett has another strong squad.

Junior guard Jordan Ford has posted games of 28, 35, ans 23 in the opening three.

Malik Fitts, a transfer from South Florida, has also been impressive. The 6-foot-8, 230-pounder is averaging 16 ppg.

Bennett and his guys are in town next Monday for the MGM Resorts International Main Event Series along with Arizona State, Utah State and Mississippi State.

Coach Bennett says, “It’s a great opportunity. We know, our players know, our staff know how important these games are.”

Coach Bennett adds, “It’s good to go over there and play in Vegas and it’s a good chance to play against some really good teams and see where we’re at.”
