AUDIO Pat Forde on Alabama/Clemson: “Anticipate A High Amount Of Scoring”

National College Columnist from Yahoo! Sports, Pat Forde joined The Press Box Morning Show and explained why he thinks the College Football’s National Championship Game between Alabama and Clemson will be high scoring, “There’s plays to be made against both secondaries.  Both Quarterbacks are brilliant, both receiving corps are excellent so I think there will be points out there.”

Both undefeated rolling into this game, Pat remarked on how far ahead both teams are, in comparison, to the rest of the country, “They’re significantly ahead.  I think Georgia is closest and after that it’s a big gap.  Georgia is the only one who has come closest to beating these two teams, other than each other.”

In addition, Pat explained why the Levi’s Stadium site in Santa Clara isn’t conducive for a traditional, college environment for the sports highest-profile game, “This is certainly not bedrock college football territory by any means.  You could walk the streets of San Jose for a long time without finding someone who could name one or two players on either team.”
