AUDIO: Alabama’s Nate Oats on why he loves Coaches vs. Cancer

Oats could’ve gone to any Power 5 school of his choice. Why the SEC?

A former math teacher at Romulus High in Michigan, Oats raved about the facilities and commitment at Alabama.

He also addressed the rumors that he could possibly bolt after a month on the job for the Michigan gig that just opened up.

He also told Cofield & Co. the story about his wife, a cancer survivor. Oats said without the progress made in cancer research, some of it due to the money raised by Coaches vs. Cancer, his wife may not be here.
