AUDIO – Here’s the scoop on R.J. Hampton’s deal with the New Zealand Breakers

It was big news this week when the top remaining player in the class of 2019 spurned offers from Texas Tech, Kansas and Memphis  to sign with the Breakers of the NBL.

Why would he do this?

If he wanted to play professionally, isn’t the new $125,000 super salary in the G-League a better option?

According to RJ Bell, Hampton and his family got a sweetheart deal from the league in Australia.

It blew the G-League out of the water, and it’s a free roll for the Breakers.
