VIDEO – UNLV legend Glenn Carano is this weekend’s honorary captain

The UNLV football season opens this Saturday at home against Southern Utah.

It’s the final season at Sam Boyd Stadium, so UNLV Athletics is celebrating with its #SBSFarewell.

Each home game will honor a past era of Rebels football.

Saturday night will be 70s night.

The honorary captain is Glenn Carano who played QB for the Rebels from 1973-76.
