Veteran quarterback Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to a one-year deal, with sources telling NFL Network that the Steelers will sign Wilson to a minimum of $1.2 million. Wilson’s former team, the Denver Broncos, will pay him $37.8 million in 2023-24.

Wilson posted video highlights on social media, with the caption: “Year 13. Grateful. Steelers,” and also reposted a photo of himself wearing a Steelers jersey on his Instagram story, originally published on the NFL’s Instagram account with the caption: Russ is a Steeler ‼

The Broncos released Wilson last week; he signed a five-year, $242.6 million contract with the franchise in 2022. In 15 starts last season, Wilson completed 66.4% of his throws for 3,070 yards, 26 scores and eight interceptions. His 100 career passer rating ranks fourth in NFL history, behind only Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson.
